Baby Moving!

So on Saturday the 7th we were having Christmas ( a bit late ) at my Uncle and Aunt's. I was having one of those bad days i mentioned in the previous post. Later that night I was laying on the couch watching my Mom, cousins, and Abigail building toys the boys got for Christmas and I noticed something funny. I noticed I felt something strange when I would let my air out when i took a breath. I purposely started letting all my air out and would hold my breath to see if i could feel it. The movement was right at my panty line and a tad to the right and it felt like something rolling around in there VERY lightly! I did this a few times and tried to think of what it could be is it wasnt the baby because I had never felt anything like it before! I am very intuned to my body and I can tell the difference between gas and muscle twitches and this felt like neither of the two. I didn't say anything to anyone but I did ask my mom when was the first time she felt me move when she was pregnant with me and she said it was in her 5th month. I am only in my third so I know that is very early. But now I am convinced I felt the baby! I asked my friends on my pregnancy forum and some of them have been feeling their babies too and that is what it is supposed to feel like! I told Jacob and he got excited! When we went to bed I caught him placing his hand over the area I told him I felt the movement and that made me grin! I wish he could feel it too but it is entirely too light of a movement for anyone to feel it from the outside of my body. So right now I am the only person who gets to feel it and I feel special! I haven't felt it since but that's completely normal. Just knowing I felt it that one time makes me feel special! I hope I can feel it again soon but it may be a while.


So I had said this was a bad day for me (nausea wise). I had thrown up 3 times that morning (twice at my Uncle and Aunts) and then just felt icky and got an awful headache. When we left I pretty much came straight to bed because I didn't feel good. I went to sleep pretty quick but woke up about 2 hours later with a POUNDING headache! It was a sinus headache and I could feel my heart beating in my face, head, and neck. I tried and tried to get comfortable and go back to sleep. I would normally have taken some ibuprofen or some sinus headache meds if i had it but since i'm pregnant I can't take ibuprofen and i didnt have any tylenol sinus. The pain began to make me feel nauseous and I found myself with my head in the toilet. I asked Jacob to please go to the store to get my some tylenol sinus because the pain was so bad (It was 3 in the morning). While he was gone I threw up 3 more times BARELY making it to the toilet each time. I threw up in my mouth each time before i could make it to the toilet. TMI, i know. The last time I puked was the worst. I puked in my mouth and before i could make it to the toilet i puked again in my mouth and i spewed all over the toilet seat. I was just sitting by the toilet crying because i hurt so bad and i couldn't stop throwing up! Jacob called and said he couldnt find any tylenol sinus at walmart so he came home. I took a phenergan to help with the nausea and I had to just deal with the headache. I propped myself up and put some heat on my neck and tried to relax. Finally I was able to get some sleep. That night was pure misery! I don't know if the sinus headache was pregnancy related or not but my sinus's have been messed up ever since. The next day I went to Walgreens to get some tylenol sinus because i still had some headache left over. I couldn't find any on the shelf so I went and asked the pharmacist if he could help me. He said that they recalled all of tylenol sinus! No wonder my poor husband couldn't find any at walmart at 3 in the morning! So he gave me a store brand sinus medication that he said was safe to take during pregnancy. So glad i have it because i have been getting headaches every day now! I also got some ZOfran to take for my nausea because the phenergan makes me sleepy and I needed something to take during the day. It seems to be working so that's good!
